Progress-U was founded in 2002 and is a rapidly developing enterprise that focuses on providing cutting edge and high-quality solutions for its clients who face issues like

  • Low motivation & engagement of their staff
  • High turnover rates, especially frequent loss of top talent
  • Unsatisfactory business development due to low productivity and of sales force and insufficient margins

We have developed and keep developing innovative training & coaching solutions to assist our clients in achieving better business results by overcoming these challenges.

Progress-U is currently the largest coaching provider based in Hong Kong and works with over 40 carefully selected coaches & trainers across Asia-Pacific.

Our client base includes both multinational and local companies. Our current focus is on Greater China, Singapore, Japan and India, but we already expand into other Asian countries as well.

Progress-U follows an innovative business model that ensures lowest administrative cost, fosters a profound entrepreneurial spirit and allows ultra-high flexibility. To this point, we do not consider having any salaried coaches/trainers, i.e. every associate works as an entrepreneur within the framework and infrastructure of Progress-U. This model might be considered a risk for the associate, but it certainly also means a much better opportunity than you might find in more traditional companies.

Non-trainer/coach roles typically are salaried roles with an attractive target achievement component.

Business Development Executive - based in P.R. China

Your Opportunity

Our Expectations

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, i.e. willing to work on a highly merrit-based compensation system
  • Minimum 5 years of sales related experience
  • Experience (minimum 2 years) in selling training / coaching related services
  • Broad network with HR Managers/Directors and/or Sales Managers/Directors and/or Senior Executives (C-Level)
  • Outgoing, optimistic, dedicated and caring
  • Good communicator in English and Mandarin is a must

Our Expectations

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, i.e. no fixed income (high income opportunity due to profit sharing model) and ready to participate in business development
  • Minimum 8 years of corporate experience, out of which at least 5 years in management positions
  • Professional coaching education (minimum 80 hours) and executive coaching experience (minimum 200 hours)
  • Able to fluently communicate in English; ability to work in local language is strongly preferred
  • Training experience would be a big plus
  • Ready to work exclusively or almost exclusively for Progress-U

  • Minimum 8 years of sales related corporate experience
  • Minimum 2 years of sales training experience
  • Professional coaching education (minimum 80 hours) and executive/sales coaching experience preferred - may be taken during start-up phase with Progress-U
  • Able to train and coach in English for India, Korean for Seoul and Thai for Bangkok based trainers & coaches
  • Background in financial industry would be preferred
  • Ready to work exclusively for Progress-U Ltd.
